black ops fun, one less SC in the world

yup i had fun yesterday

took my sin out for a spin with a bunch of other Black ops and cov ops ships (almost more black ops than cov ops in this fleet) it was epic to take my lovely black ops out again after its been collecting dust for sooooo long. though i really need to refit it as the fit on it is old and needs major update.

anyway because it was a black ops and these things are best kept under wraps im not going to give you details just tell you what happend.

so we form up the fleet and move out to the system we will lie in wait for (i am not brigeing today so no need for extra fuel) i get to trundle along and jump myself with the fleet (which is just major fun when you have every black ops on the feild and feel like a ninja). we are looking for a target when a spy reports a nyx sitting in a pos in a standing fleet no one is in command of (this nyx is AFK!!! in a fleet not sitting in fleet command or even squad command this is a very stupid thing to do). so long story short we get "bat phone" to freinds to bring in support (as we dont have the DPS or tackle for a nyx) while this is going on a moblie bubble is acored in system where we will sping the trap, spy takes squad command warps the sucker to the moblie bubble, he is traped we jump in start shooting and support fleet comes in starts shooting and bubbleing (this is it he is dead). then he self destructs GOD DAM IT!... haha ah well at least its one less SC in the game.

it was a good show and i was happy to be apart of it, no killmails to show off but you know you got the job done and that is a nice feeling :D

in other news:
i was flying a ceptor in the epic fight in c-j6mt, flew with some freinds and i can tell you the time dilation makes flying a ceptor in big fleet fights so much more fun.

 it was an epic battle props to PL and Goons for showing up too, its nice just to have a fight for a fights sake now and then and this was one of them fights. over 1900 in local and i was able to use my ceptor to kill over 15 targets, kill as in we went for other ceptors and dictors... now that was a fun CTA

also i got myself a vindicator for low sec PvP, im not going to tell you how i fited it or where it is so stop hopeing :P, needless to say its allreayd makeing a mark and its has a nice faction fit, with the web bounes and damage bounes this is one nasty boy

Zama haz Drake

God no please dont tell me your flying a drake

yup my time of flying gallente only is over... so for the heck of it i chose to fly a drake around in small and large gangs a bit.
i hate the thing... but it fits a role wich is standerd ship with DPS and takle very well. has hard nut to crack. so for the time being im flying a drake around (while i train up for the much better hurricane) so that i can have good old jokes with people about how crap it is. tough i have got quite a few kills with it so far. take a look for yourself http://eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=183003&view=ships_weapons

you can still see a lot of green and i will not stop flying my beloved gallente just i think it was about time i cross train and fly some cool stuff. my current aims are: onyx, hurracane, dram, vaga, cyna, and onwards...

So FACTS is without sov again...

so OWN alliance got booted by reds out of there station system s6qx-n, which is never fun evacing things under fire wile im also trying to do my work that needs to be in the next day...
not too happy about it really but what do we do thats war for you. we have just moved down to trib and are fighting out of there instead

regadless of who we are with or where we are FACTS always seems to do a good job of keeping things togever. we keep fighting and kicking no matter the sit wich makes me very happy.

Solo me

im trying to think of some good ideas for areas i can go solo too (well solo + small gang) want to get my corp some more small scale PvP action
i got some ideas
been watching some red space and some very stupid people flying around in ships i would very much like to releave them of i just need to orginze some ops down that way
also some nice small gang stuff to be had close to home
so im going to let everyone get tehre stuff togever a little more then then do some nice small gang HD and roaming stuff

Ok so its been a while (again)

allright i think i keep starting this blog and burning out because i put to much effort in to makeing it sound good. also its a lot of work for me to make long texts that are spelt and gammicaly correct (as you can see in said example). but latey my writeing has inporved a lot so i was thinking i would fill you guys in (yer no one reads this so i am basicly talking to myself) about whats been going on with me and my eve life, without trying to go in to much detail and without trying to write long epic blogs...
i also like to post some new pics :D

so where did i leave off.... ahh PI.

so my PI stuff expanded quite a bit i now have 4 worlds mineing and 1 world puting everything toghter (which seems to be a very populer choice) i will get some photos toghere so you can see how my system works

so what has happend to my Alliance
as i have said i help run an alliance (VVA) which for all instisve resons is dead now (about 30 members all alts of the old directors (inc my own)). long story short: VVA takes in more carebear corps(than we allready have), VVA told to PvP more, VVA makes a massive push to PvP (which i might add starts to work), some people rage quit when we tell them they cant carebear 24/7 (carebear corps leave), others quit as we are pushing hard and they are working hard so they go somewhere else where they can relax a bit (i dont blam them that much), our leader lumis goes MIA (this is just before we are told to PvP more), with no order from up high people lose fiath and start looking else where, LOTS of people leave at once, VVA left with the hardcore (which are very very good PvPers and Eve players), we have a meeting and say we dont want to rebuild again so we will part ways...

thats a very long story cut short and maby i am talking about how i feel it happend.

so what is happening with my Corp
my corp FACTS on EVE... did not die with the alliance as most would think founding corps do, when VVA split ways we took in all the corps membership which was left and wanted to stay in NC space (XSI who our still our very good freinds left to go back to provi and help CVA i wish them much luck as i wish CVA luck as well).
so we said ok lets join another NC alliance, after a good look round and chat with lots of people (offers and such) we settle with OWN allaince... why you ask with all the news of them at late. OWN repesent for us a chanse to grow our name inside an alliance which is still growing and learning. we stand out more in OWN and we will help with whatever they tell us to do. i understand the stuff thats just gone on and see it from both sides, and to be honast i dont care as now i can grow my corp (which now has lots of members and fantasic ones as well its a real joy to see corp chat :D) while not haveing to deeply submit myself to alliance matters and politics.

so we are very happy

so whats been going on with me
well for a while now (ever since VVA droped sov and said to PvP more) iv been homeless new space is on the horazien but iv been pritty much soild PvPing (major fleets and such)
i trying to solo PvP more (and small gang) also keeping up my FCing skills and learning new stuff. like takeing down logi supported gangs and such.

Another day of managment and fun

So if you hold a place of alliance director you seem to get drafted to do things at stupid times of days :)

One of these things is hauling in my Cov ops transport over 2 billion worth of minerals to jita to sell for the alliance
The amount of money that had going in to my account that day was dizzying for me (ok 2 bil not that much but still it’s quite a lot just to pass hands)
But that was a while ago

Also helping escort freighters is another one of them respocen abily :D
New sinience upgrades level 5 pirate decation field and the cyno jam upgrade 
It’s all good fun helping beyond billions of stuff come in to system to help upgrade our money making power :D I will be enjoying the new sites that come live soon and also being able to cyno jam our system

Fun
I really love a good slug out between 2 fleets and fleet sizes where you don’t instant pop if you get called primary 
So while I am waiting to escort this freighter there is a red fleet handing around in our way
R3, X-R3 they are hanging around in heavy drake and shield support fleet
so like a good boy I’m already in my Myrmidon, which I love to bits did you know the Myrmidon is the 1st ship I got a kill in :D also the 1st ship I lost to PvP at the same time,  so I fleet up and we move to engage them...
Here is how the fight went from my point of view (1st time I don’t this in my blog as well)
So we all meat up in x-r3nm and got on the r3-k7k gate. Then found out they were on the misaba gate so we jump in aline, then they all warp to us on the x-r3nm gate so we reapoce and then they land and jump we follow after. so what happens after is a slug out where the two snail across the grid the drake fleet moving as fast as they can away from our tackles and us trying to keep up with them in our mix of ships.
I was hanging back a bit as my myr had long range rails and drones that and be controlled at long range. So we start popping them one by one. We also had logistics with us but the problem being our movement pace was all different and some people moved out of range of the logistics and thus were blown apart in a hail of missiles and drones
Overall we did much better than them with not many losses and lots of kills :D
After that they left whoever had been takled to die and ran away

How to have fun loseing ships

so the next day comes along and my freind and corp mate Humongo tells me that a friage gang is setting up in 9UY to go help take on a red fleet. So I get my trusty ishker (not my ishtar :D) and head on down join up. there is a large gang in 9-F0B2 so our little gang (we numbered just 20 frigates) headed over to y-mpwl where there was a Moros under attack, once we get there the reds start to leave, did manage to kill a Prophecy before he got out which is always fun. So the large red fleet is now in 9uy and we ordered to meet up with another large blue fleet to take them on. meet them in 9uy as the reds jump out toward 9-fob2 again.
So the blue fleet we are with follows them in to 9-fob2 and we then follow the blue fleet :D. the fight that followed was a blood bath for our side. I think it was reported they had 9 Guardians which means a LOT remote repi was not able to take down anything but a lonely manticore which I ponched on too fast for them to re. then I died in a hail of fire so many bubbles going up my pod as well.
but I had a hell of time dieing what I way to go in a fight like that fire EVERYWHERE!
So I was not done with that fleet for the day
I had ended up in my new clone and get right back in to my trusty Myrmidon (you will rember form the report above)
A new larger blue fleet is being formed to kick there ass and I join up and race with them to the D-GTMI system. Where on the gate to t-rpfu we warp (well most of us) I’m the 1st to land and BAM local starts to spike. then one hell of a slug fest begins and with our own logistics this time and most of their taken down or ECM'ed we wipe the floor with them

later one we catch another one in FX-7EM then I call it a day and head home

cloaky reds and reading blogs

Ok so anyone who knows anything about Ushra'Khan knows that they like they cloaky ships. Now I have no problem with cloaky ships or Ushra'Khan (I won’t call them UK as confuses too many thinking they all come from the United Kingdom which I live in lol) but I really don’t like ships that just cloak up and wait in sectors for days on end.
now to be honest its not Ushra'Khan that have been doing this the most in my area of Provi but one came in today that was Ushra'Khan and it has gotten my back up about the 24/7 cloak as I have faced a lot of them since the Dominion patch. When I see a red in local I get in a PvP ship. In fact if I see a red anywhere I can get to I get a PvP ship. This means I am in a PvP ship till they leave and coz they are just cloaked somewhere AFK I can’t get a fair fight out of them so I just waste my time waiting to see if I can kill them. I do give up and find PvP somewhere else mostly 9uy area. What really annoys me is when I come online with a mission to do something that isn’t PvP and I am faced with a red so I am forced to go somewhere else to PvP which I did not plan.
now PvP always comes 1st for me I don’t get a lot of kills but I do my fair share and I’m always in the top 10 killers in my alliance even if it is number 10.
So basically what I am saying is I wish these reds would just fly around abit more! I mean I don’t mind if the fly around attack every god dam ratter and miner in the system (to be honest I think it’s a good thing it reminds people we are in 0.0 not carebear land) I just want to see them active and doing things. what I really hate is knowing they are just AFK wasting my time (the time of their alt) and the time of my friends if they where active I problem would not be able to catch them still but at least I would be able to try... which I think makes the game a whole lot more fun.

In my efforts to find out more about the world of EVE I have been reading other blogs
I’ve read other blogs for a long time now such as, roc's ramblings (I do have I iphone and I do use capsuleer after all in fact funny story is I meet pyjama sam at fanfest which was really interesting), EVE online wormholes, Diary of a pod pilot, life in low sec and the others I have a bit of a back log on and need to catch up reading so I can’t hostily say I’ve gotten that far.
But as 0.0 is my world and I love the place 3 blogs and stood out for me...
A Mule in eve this blogger has been livening in 0.0 for some time and its fun to find read and learn from his experiences
Eve's weekend warrior who has just moved down to 0.0 it is most amusing to see how the move has going (joined up with Ushra'Khan :P so I hope I don’t see him AFK cloaking systems)
Rifter drifter who is just about to move down to 0.0 (joining up with -A- I believe)

so there are a lot of 0.0 bloggers but these all stand out as they are very good blogs and they are all around where I live :) which is always good
They are also all red to me LOL the life of someone who lives in CVA space I guess :P
But it is most amusing to see hed-gp talked about from another angle or anyone saying anything about the proviblob which I am sometimes a member of :)

Any rate that’s it with my current musing
All that is happening with me at the mo is I’m building up a bit of a buffer and I’m trying to be more active in PvP (means I move out of my +5 clone now and then).
Looking at buying my Proteus and Deimos still trying to work out the fit for both.
My Alt is still projessing with the skill I will soon have him in a Stealth Bomber and then a ratting battleship which will be so much fun!

So you killed your CEO now what?

Ok so it really isn’t that bad

a tip to everyone who has the power to pay with POS guns DONT lock someone and then release the control of the guns back to the POS. We where testing the POS guns (as we never have done that) and he was outside dropping cans for me to blow up so for a joke i had the idea i would lock him then i released the control just to be on the safe side (not unlocking him 1^st).
The POS fleet like shooting my CEO in his Crane (90Mil ship) was very funny when I noticed his ship pop and watched missiles fly past him.

He was not happy...
at least I did not pod him. :P

My little trip down to jita

Ok so iv taken a trip down to jita to buy 3 things:
an Arazu + fit
an Keres + fit
and 10 sisters core and combat probes

I somehow lost my other sisters core probes, I don’t know how but I’ve seem to left them in space ARG i hate losing things

But anyway lets talk about my new ships.
Both share the same roles (E-War and point). And both are in my opion very good ships i love them both

The Keres coz its small has the same damping power as the arazu, not really a huge target for any FC and it makes a good tackle with fast lock speeds.

and the Arazu has an amazing tackle, it can fit Cov ops cloak Which is a huge plus, moves fast (so does the Keres) and the damping is just as good.
only one problem i cant fly the Arazu yet with its full fit

Little big fleets
I got involved with some fleets going out of my little 2v area (I don’t know why I call it 2v pocket the constellation is in fact called H-KW4A). We killed a Falcon with an amazing de-cloak by one of the fleet interceptors (really good job). And hit down a Taranis while it was trying to burn back to the gate (which I love watching them slow down)

What was not funny is two neut’s died because someone had them set to personal red (i really hate it when things go messy).

Cant wait for Dominion!!!

All the stuff in the new expiation is well cool
mail system, new worlds (which i took a peak at in Fanfest and now on test sever), the sov system which will be a dream come true for our alliance, the new browser (iv always hated the Eve browser), fleet finder and formations anyway WOOO HOOOO and so much more (titan DD anyone :P)

I just keep sitting here wishing it was already here

Only last note is I want more capital ops (I want to use my capital ship more!)

Well yesterday was fun

CVA dispaned because someone hacked an Directors account

so i log on and get blasted with all this info
there ships flying around takeing there worldy goods out
that day everyone else makes there mind up that Providence is the place to be
what a day loads of PvP all over the place
i had fun right up intill i went to bed.

im sitting in 2V holding the fort from any pirates and we did a good job of that :)
joined up with a larger fleet as well and kicked some ass

so i log in today
and nice to see that CVA problems have been fixed by CCP
i dont think it would of been fair to let one of the oldist alliances in eve fall because of a hacker

long live CVA

well seem as my update is a bit early today i may as well tell you what im doing today
iv just had a my new Hyperion and im off it jita to fit it then im off to Providence to use it in what is probley going to be some more fighting over today as everyone still wants to be in Providence it seems i dont mind they can all come i will be waiting

Fanfest

ok so I went to fanfest and iv come back its been about 3 weeks now :P and iv not told you about it
it was FANTASIC I will be going next year for sure I can’t believe how much fun such a geeky event can be
to start with all the jokes where eve related (my fav is the trip is taking so long I may as well pod myself home). everyone was pretty much talking eve talk tough the whole thing
it was my dream come true
from the moment you walk in the door and see the live feed for jita (lol so funny fights and ships 24/7) I felt at home as a demi-god of eve
you can hear my voice and see me on some of the YouTube videos out there (I leave you to guess that one)
I went to PvP talks, PvE talks, talks about the market, seen lots of new stuff talked to loads of eve fans
seen the most fantastic prestaions iv ever witnessed
... the back ground for the stage w as amazing and they guys at CCP know how to give a show
took part in the PvP torment
... PvP torment aaa yes I well ummm forgot my ammo :( and my other two team mates had no time to fit so we were kind of bummed out by that

Cap op
I can’t say much (as I would be skinned alive by our Cap ship FC) but I went on my 1st cap op in my carrier
it was fun (I know a lot of people think there not) but I enjoyed seeing all that power and jumping from system to system is cool
killed a Dark Blood Control Tower I am very happy about that
also almost got to hot drop a carrier group (but they were quick and jumped out before we could catch them

WH space

So we went in to another Unknown space system (a class 2 this time) with lots of plexs to run and one static link to low sec and another to class 3 WH.
I had planned to use the Class 3 link and do raids in to other systems (not PvP just run the plexs) but we never got around to it as we got a bit fed up after we had finished off the Class 2.
Note to everyone always check you directional scanner. I got lazy (so did my corp mates) and we did not notice the onyx, two nightmares (YES I know nightmares should not go unnoticed), Rapier and a Falcon. Who then came in to our complex we were running and killed Jorrel Baas in his Dominix (and got hits pod), which really sucks because I hate losing members and mainly as I was being lazy could of be avoided completely. Ooo well lesson learned.
lots of people do poke their heads in to WH space I never check there scanners I had a harbinger and a Bestower gas mining while I scanned them down checked them out and go in to bombing range on them with my nemesis (I really love that ship), I did not bomb them (I’m not a pirate) I private one of them then asked them to leave or die (I would of in fact let them finish gas mining if they asked). They closed chat and turned and left faster than I’ve ever seen a Bestower ever go

General musing about WH space
spamming the combat sites in a class 2 gets very boring and WH Large pos takes too much fuel for it to be worth the time for a class 2 WH
lots of people like to poke their heads in to class 2’s as well I think a class 3+ is much safer

Sitting outside stations bombing them is fun

a yes the more evil side to my latest WH trip
I found a link to null sec (red space to me Surprise!) with a station in system, I sat 32km off the station in my nemesis (which I love even more now) and bombs targets I think I could kill
I had a Helios undock I failed to kill (the bomb hit him but did not get the damage it needed)
then came a Bestower which the bomb did kill
I went back for more bombs come back in to system there was a banger mark II which held its docking timer (so took no damage)
after that the system started to light up and I thought it was time to get out

getting out of WH space

The class two is done time to get out
I haul the ships out Delta sorts out the POS
this is the last time we going to do a WH for some time there are other things we as a corp need to be getting on with and I am fed up of WH for the time being all the work of setting up a pos and scanning the system wears you down a bit (esspily if it comes solely down to you to do it)
this WH has not yield fantastic profit only shy of a billion

my friend rejoins VVA

My friend Cneagle has rejoined VVA (I know CN from real life and we are good friends) it’s just a shame he did not rejoin my corp (I duno really why he did not)

Back to provi
so now that all the WH stuff is sorted I head back to my real home of providence
I’m also back to doing a little ratting on the side to fund my ships and going to give the life of PvP a much harder try

Orders from a old friend
a hype and 20 Tristan (plus fits) for less than 84 mil my friend is crazy
I’m going to pay him 90 mil coz I can’t stand it feels like I’m stealing off him

Kills of late
I been flying around in my Ishtar (which I have finally sorted the fit for) and iv had a nice spree of kills
we had a Gallente Navy Comet and pod which got trapped by gate sling bubbles
Impairor I know it’s not worth anything but we got his pod as well (I larth about the noob ship)
2 ishtars and pod (ooo juicy) even 1 Ishtar I failed to do any damage to so no killmail for me for that one, but it was because I focused on the other :P like I should do
I have to put my hat off to my friends in provi of late they are getting good a PvP
1 fleet I ran which was made up of rag tag ships wonderful pilots they all knew exactly what we needed and we killed loads (I was honderd to command them around)
on that note I really love to FC small gangs (max of 20 people) it’s fun without having to go all all supper bossy FC mode (which I can do but don’t like to do)

FACTS and lack of members
I’m sure I’ve talked my corp. before but I think I will outline it again:
FACTS is older than eve we used to pay X games from egosoft way back in the day. FACTS was a clan so to speak (as none of the games are online we never played togever) with the sole aim of helping new players pick up and play X, like eve its very complex, FACTS stands for Free Advice Conquering The System and that’s what we do. As the X games started to lose our attention we as a group of friends started to break up and play other games, I started playing Eve and I was hocked. A few months past and DeltaW7 (known as Delta wolf on FACTS I was known as ZAMA) and we both joined a group called the triangle. Year later some more of our FACTS friends start playing and BAM we have our own "FACTS on EVE" corp (and for the 1st time ever we all start playing the same game online). the rest is as they say history, but after some time we as a corp. start breaking up (people want to do their own things in eve and everyone always moves on) as we have always been facts members we never looking in to getting new members so we are kind of low on numbers at the min and looking to go back to our roots and teach people how to play (on that note older members are welcome too :P).
Just hope we can keep going :)
